i6 is Cyber Essentials Plus certified

Demonstrating our commitment to cyber security

In the modern world, cyber-attacks are sadly becoming more common. Individuals or groups of cybercriminals aim to disrupt or control systems in order to manipulate or steal the data held within, and these attacks can be launched from anywhere in the world. Every business has a responsibility to do everything in its power to guard against these attacks.

At i6, we’re continuing to prove our systems are as secure as possible. We’re delighted to announce that we have been granted Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification by the National Cyber Security Centre. The NCSC, launched in 2016 with headquarters in London, supports the most critical organisations in the UK as well as the general public in defending against cyber attacks and nurturing cyber security capability.

The benefits of CE+ certification

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government backed certification that helps to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates our commitment to cyber security. Seeing that a company has CE certification is often an effective deterrent to cybercriminals in itself, as they will look for easier, less protected targets to attack.

There are two levels of certification available - Cyber Essentials consists of a self-assessment that companies can voluntarily complete, proving that they have the defences necessary to protect against most basic attacks.

Cyber Essentials Plus builds on this and goes further, with additional advice and measures put in place to guard against a variety of attacks, as well as external auditing to prove our resilience against cybercrime.

CE+ sits alongside our existing SOC2 and ISO27001 certifications and demonstrates our commitment to providing secure digital fuel management technology for our customers.
