Our response to COVID-19

Caring for each other is at the forefront of our thoughts at these difficult times. As we continue to navigate through these challenging circumstances, the safety and well-being of our people, our families and our community are of the utmost importance to us.

We are focused on providing our software services through these uncertain times. We are committed to providing services that are essential to support and maintain everyday airport operations.

Protecting our people

Prior to the outbreak preparations were put in place to transition our entire business to fully remote working conditions. A successful trial was completed and since the enforced lockdown period we continue to operate as close to business as usual.

What we’re doing

i6 management and leadership continue to connect daily with both staff and customers to navigate through these unprecedented circumstances. We are focused on the well-being of our people, families and helping the recovery. With global efforts now focused on trying to “flatten the curve” we understand the responsibility we have as an organisation and the small role we can play in contributing towards this goal.

With this in mind, as a business we are undertaking the following additional steps:

Support - We will continue to operate as close to business as usual and our 24/7/365 support remains available via the usual communication channels :

Product Deployment & Training - Due to the imposed travel restrictions, all current and foreseeable customer deployments are postponed. Where possible virtual tools will be used to augment customer meetings and support deployment/training requirements. We will continue to prepare for the removal of global travel restrictions in line with Government recommendation.

Customer conference/events - We have tightened our travel restrictions and all conference/event participation is currently postponed and will be reviewed in line with Government recommendations.

Employee self-isolation - Compulsory self-isolation measures have been put in place for all employees who have traveled outside their country of residence and/or have been exposed to confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Innovation - During this unexpected period of downtime, we as a business remain committed to innovation and developing the range of products and services available.

We are encouraged by the unity and solidarity that is taking place around the world. We encourage you to support global efforts to limit the impact of COVID-19 with good hygiene practice, social distancing and with care and consideration for the people around you.
